Mumbai Indians retained their top 4 players including Tendulkar, Pollard, Bhajji & Malinga but lost Zaheer Khan. They further strengthen with the inclusion of Andrew Symmonds and Rohit Sharma in the team. They also have James Franklin, Davy Jacobs and few other foreign players and difficult to choose in them while Munaf Patel and Ambati Rayudu will be the part of playing 11.

Delhi Daredevils have almost new team except captain Virender Sehwag while the bought again David Warner. They will definitely miss de Villiers, Dilshan, Vettori, Gambhir & Nannes. They still have players like Hopes, Colin Ingram, van der Merwe, Naman Ojha, Irfan Pathan and Morne Morkel.

Kings XI Punjab has formed entirely new team after disappointing last 3 seasons, finished in the bottom half each time and now hope to change the fortune under the dynamic Adam Gilchrist. They will miss local hero Yuvraj Singh who is now opposite team captain.

Sahara Pune Warriors will be happy to have Yuvraj Singh , who was Man of the Series and he is in good form with bot bat and bowl and it will be interesting to see how he plays against his old team. Prize Money in Indian Premier League (IPL) - IPL3 Prize Money, 2010 IPLT20 Prize


IPL - Indian Premier League, the other name of shower of money in the game of cricket for everyone. The beneficiary will not not only BCCI but players all around the world.

The overall prize money will be around Rs. 20 crore (US $5 million), and from the 2010 IPL3, 3rd placed team also share the prize money.

Winner of IPL3 - Rs. 6 crore ( US $1.5 million) and the ticket for 2010 CLT20.

Runner-Up - Rs. 3 crore ( US $0.75 million) and the ticket for 2010 CLT20.

3rd Place - Rs. 1.75 crore ( US $ million) and the ticket for 2010 CLT20.

TV rights have already gone for over US $1 billion. Franchisees have already committed close to US $723 million. Top players are expected to earn minimum Rs. 4-6 crores per season.

IPL 2011 is scheduled to start in first week of april . It should begin a few days after World cup ends. Lalit Modi has been sacked and 2 teams which very removed are back again now after court intervention ( Rajasthan Royals and Kings XI Punjab ) . Kochi cricket team has come out of all problems.Now it looks as if 10 teams are going to play. So the number of matches are going to be increased.
